About Us - The Maxx Project.

The website as we now know it, has actually been in the works since 1997. Back then it had no real name or identity. It all started as a personal project in an effort to learn web programming and designs.
Over the years it has slowly evolved into what it is today. In the year 2000, the name Actionmaxx was choosen, because of the founder Maxx ( left in photo), who is a man of action. Shon who is on the right became a business partner sometime in 2003 and has made major contributions to the overall development of the projects that we have undertaken since then.

Since we were both students, attending college, we came to realize from a very early stage that there was one thing we both had in common...we wanted to be entrepreneurs. We knew that we could not do the nine to five routine for too long, so we both worked hard towards the pursuit of becoming self sufficient. Becoming our own boss.

We were able to acheive that goal first by getting into the Auto Repair and Service business, thus Maxx Auto. As time went on we were able to diversify into other online ventures, since we have realized for a very long time that the potential of online commerce was indeed enormous and we couldn't waste time capitalizating on that opportunity.

Having the computer programming skills and Shon being the think tank behind the business strategies, we are relentlessly working towards making this whole thing a success. However due to limited resources both financially and human, we have no choice but to move at a pace that is humanly possible for the both of us.

It has taken time, and most likely it will take some more time, but we can already see the light at the end of the tunnel and we know that someday, we will eventually get there.
